FOCUS AREAS
INDEPENDENT VOICE
I have kept my promise by remaining an independent voice as noted through my voting record on the Council. I will continue to work hard to be an advocate for Ward 6 by gathering information and making decisions the residents request. I attended meetings dutifully and remained available to talk to those with concerns in the city.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Improved public safety will be a focus of my attention and I will encourage the council to discuss safety and work to help bring improvements.
EDUCATION
Education is the future of our city and must remain a priority. We have a responsibility to ensure adequate and appropriate support from the city for the school district.
ECONOMY
I voted to support residents during the tax rate vote. The residential tax rate continued to grow at an alarming rate in past years. However in 2018 with a few other Councilors we were able to vote to lift the burden from homeowners. Attleboro must take all residents into account when considering the budget of our city. I actively strive toward understanding the needs in Ward 6 and advocate on behalf of the district.
BUSINESS
I voted to hire an Economical Development Director to support moving the city forward. Attleboro must find our foundation to support future growth. We need to focus on our small business appeal which is key to attracting those to the city. We also should encourage residents to support businesses that remain in our city through community events.
